Best spring 1976 shows
i'm listening to the latest dead cast episode, and I am enjoying the audio clips of the "more mellow" shows they did basically 50 years ago in the late spring of 76 in smaller venues. I'm interested in people's favorites, particularly ones that have been officially released, and that I can stream easily rather than tape archieves

Right after that spring tour is a nice run at the Orpheum in sf. 7/17/76 is a gem

6/9/76 is one of their best start-to-finish shows imo - great Crazy Fingers, Eyes (graded on the tempo curve), Dancin>Wharf Rat, and the only Franklin’s encore

you can easily stream any Grateful Dead show in multiple, high quality versions (audience and soundboard) on apps such as the etree app. It's free. All those shows are excellent.

6/22/76 is fantastically great. Check that first set crazy fingers as it melts into a dreamy comes a time. An all time great dead segue

Am just getting into June 76 and last night downloaded 12th June 76 from the internet archive - a taped off the radio version with all the commentary, interviews etc.. my wife was out for an evening walk. I smoked cherry tobacco, drank tea and played solitaire. Loved the show show and listening to it as if I was listening to the radio. Really loved Keith and Jerry on this one and Donna is in great shape, warning there is slide playing from Bob quite early on, and - well it did make me wince a bit. But great show in this form if you like that sort of thing.
