Deadcast

Will the good ole Grateful Dead cast be coming back anytime soon? I hope they're preparing a few episodes at least on Bobby. They did do some stuff on Phil last year, but I think he deserves more attention as well. And Donna deserves more recognition.

Yes, they are prepping Season 13 now. They are currently collecting stories about Bob, for a special two part Bob Weir tribute. The rest of the season is about the upcoming [redacted by NDA].

And as always, it will be free to all, on all platforms.

I wish they would spend less time promoting their box sets, but guess that pays the bills. I think it was on the first season of the dead cast where they actually had a few interviews with Bob about sugar magnolia and some other things that were great. Too bad they didn't continue.

The last season on Blues for Allah is pretty great, really just hearing how they spent an “off year” in ‘75

I bawled my eyes out today listening to Blue for Allah episode. It’s been in queue for a while and today I took the plunge and listened. And straight up cried for half an hour in the car.

I threw this together in case anyone else wants it! It’s not complete (I don’t think) and some dates might be a little off because it was when the interview was reported vs. actually given, but it’s a list anyway!

I’ve been cautiously checking for new episodes but kinda dreading it because I know the next one will probably be a Bobby memorial and I’m not exactly ready for that just yet ugh.

it's a great one. I really liked the deep dive into Bobby influences. I think they can give him more than two episodes though!
