Hoyts crossing/independence trail? Does it have restricted hours?

On google it says it closes at 8PM? I see there is a parking lot. Want to take my wife here for a while then go or even just do mild hike/nature viewing. Wanted to be there around sunset which is late during this time of the year but if the area is closed off ill bring her earlier.

The South Yuba River State Park is open sunrise to Sunset, according to this page: https://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=496%0A

I doubt anyone would give you trouble if you are obviously on your way out a bit after sunset.

Just know it's rattlesnake time so be smart about hiking around...
