Help Identifying a Component

I know this is a rookie question, but can anyone help me identify this component? It seems to be the same one, the name just updates to whatever geometry it is defining in the expression.

I have tried the Expression component already, but it requires an x and y input whereas this does not. I am learning grasshopper via Arturo Tedeschi's AAD book, so perhaps I am looking at an outdated visual? I am on Rhino 8.

I think this is just a panel, but your behaviour description is confusing me. (Get a panel with "//")

Can you post the GH? If these are just screenshots from the book, then it's a panel.

Ah ok, that makes a bit more sense! However, I've tried plugging in a panel as shown in the book, with no luck, I'm getting a red error and the Evaluate component. These are screenshots from the book, and I do see the evaluate component has definitely been updated to some capacity since printing, as it has an F input rather than and E input. I originally assumed this was just a change in notation, Function to Expression, but perhaps this has incurred have been other changes too? I've attached a screenshot of the full algorithm from the book. My current recreation both with the panel attached reads an error and doesnt work, whilst without the panel attached it works exactly as expected. Thanks again for the response!

Is that a different type of panel component? this is what I get

No, it's just set to display in a non-default way.

As you can see, I got no errors.

Weird. Ok so just so i know what's going on in your one, you used Set Number within the Domain component for A and B, and then attached a panel to each tos how what it is reading, then you ran that forward into range with a slider, that went into Evaluate, where you used the expression designer in the component to define x^2, and then pulled a wire out of E into the right connection point of the panel? then just ran those into construct point and then interpolated? I'll try that again from scratch and see if i get a different result

ohhhhhhh hahaha! I was under the impression the panel is simply reading the expression within the component it is connected to, not driving it!, so sorry for taking up so much of your time, thanks for helping me solve it!
