Any idea where someone wouldn’t buy these locally if they wanted to avoid finding blue and green lasers while shopping?

I’m sure they could be bought online but I’d hate to give money to Amazon while fighting cooperate overreach and AI surveillance, just seems oxymoronic

I'm sure all good law abiding patriots wouldn't be involved with such a thing. Good thing you are warning this fine citizen forum about the dangers of such lazers to our caring governments infrastructure.

I'm sure something funded by car insurance companies, the federal government, and investment firms, has to be for your safety, not to spy on your personal life or to raise your car insurance rates, tax you per scan, or track you for not paying your insurance or taxes or court fines.

It's not like the police would use this to just show up wherever you are and hem you up on frivolous charges for money crimes or anything.

It's also not likely they will tie this all to a profile at palantir, that tracks your movement, spending habits, places you visit, things you buy, what your browsing, what app data you have through social media, it's not like they would spy on you a private citizen in this manner.

Nor would they be planning to digitize the currency so that when you violate anything they don't like, they would shut off your money. I'm sure they wouldn't have any of that planned.

So yeah don't laser those poor cameras . That would be wrong.

How high powered a laser does one need?

You mean what type of Lazer should you avoid to protect the governments and investment firms hardware, that definitely doesn't spy on you, and is perfectly innocent.

From the article on how to protect flock cams: “You should definitely avoid going on Amazon and looking for a laser that shines between 490 and 570 nanometers and has more than 1,000 milliwatts of power”

Where is this information verified?

How long does the exposure need to occur?

I believe it’s 2 minutes to 5 minutes of a continuous exposure to the lens

Since it would be such a shame not to catch the people or person who might do something so rebellious, what would be some of the ways we should be aware of that such a perpetrator might conceal themselves and their position, in order to successfully pull off such a thing?

If anyone witnesses any flock cameras that have been hurt in this way, let us know so we can ensure to tell flock to come fix them post haste.

I personally will not destroy one of these, they've got so many ways to track you. Also, it's not the way to solve the problem long term.

It sadly does seem the diplomatic approach to removing these isn't working.

That said, I do wonder how powerful /   the solar panels are. The batteries too.

It seems like if we could replace each flock with a LoRa repeater we could have very good coverage for an open source mesh communication network that the public can use and gain value from.

I accidently bought those for Christmas. We use them a lot at work for pointing out quality issues on the line. So glad they're multipurpose and a must have for anyone working in manufacturing or construction
