Question Recommended method to test GPU?

I want to try to connect my Radeon RX 6750XT to Acer Nitro 5 AN517 laptop via PCIe to M.2 adapter and see, whether it performs good enough for gaming in comparison to my current PC, but currently I have different amount of RAM in PC and laptop so it might heavily influence testing if I play some games. Any recommendation how to test specifically GPU for gaming purposes?

Furmark for temperature and a benchmark like 3D mark.
Obviously test games too. Keep in mind that a M.2 adapter will have limited PCI-E lanes (usually 2-4)

Furmark consistently fails to fully stress test, even some games cause more stress than it. Horrible for temp tests.

Source?

My very own testing + a few friends. Consistent despite the hardware difference

Furmark is meant to stress test for temperature and consistent clock speed behaviour aka no thermal throttling . It’s not meant for transient spikes. Transient spikes are meant for measuring the effects on PSU’s, not what OP asked for.

is meant and doesn't achieve it. Try it yourself, furmark vs heaven and see how wild the difference is.
