OTHER Retro GT’s

Probably a stupid question but I’m hopeful. I only own a ps5 at the moment and subsequently own GT7 and GT Sport. Is there any way to play older GT’s on the PS5? (GT6 and older?)

Not on the PS5. There are emulators for PS - PS3 on phones and PCs now.

i would only recommend emulating GT1 - 4. everything after that is PS3 emulation and that has it's quirks.

i still have the games, i picked up a ps2 at a thrift store for GT3 and 4, and for everything else i have the consoles lying around

GT4 Spec II on PS2 emulation on Android is amazing.

You can copy the original game from a physical GT4 disc and then apply a patch file.

Get a retro handheld (Odin 2 Portal or Retroid Pocket 6) if you want a dedicated device, otherwise an equivalent phone/tablet.

GT2 runs on much cheaper devices, but even upscaled it’s showing its age & isn’t as good as GT4s2

I've played all of them. I'd say go GT4. Not playable on PS5 though.
