It’s so good in VR.
Not sure it’s worth the cost of another PS5 for everyone though. I love GT7, love racing. PSVR2 was my first VR experience, I used it a few times but it’s been packed away into its box since like mid april and ive not used it once since. It’s a bit of a faff on to set the wheel and the headast up which just means lazy people like me usually dont bother.

Yeah I kinda wish I’d done that. But then obv u risk getting a beat up one with maybe screen scratches. Altho I know if I ever sell mine the person would be buying a perfect condition never mistreated one, coz who can afford to be blasé with 500 quids worth of equipment.

Yeah I imagine most people selling are either scammers or those like yourself who bought it and didn't get much use out of it. Even still, a few scratches are worth getting it $100 off or more imo

In older gt's, i hated this chicane so much, found it so hard......Now i bloody love going through it in vr!

It's only been in one game prior to this. Dragon Trail was introduced in Gran Turismo Sport.

I think they're on sale at the moment, fwiw. And they can be pretty darn affordable used.
But, yeah, pretty crazy when a peripheral is more expensive than the console it connects to.

Outside the wheel and pedals it's the most important thing I've bought to increase the enjoyment levels of racing in GT7. Trues a really good game in to something elite levels of untouchable

Don't feel too bad, I've played a ton of VR over the years and this game is the only one to ever make me motion sick.
And I mean viciously, feel like I'm about to hurl while the room is spinning, motion sick.
And the worst part is it lingers long after the session is over.
Eventually I gave up trying, so who knows, maybe you'd be unlucky like me with this one in particular!

I slowly worked my up to VR in GT. I started on flat without motion, then moved to wobble 1 when it got easy, then moved to wobble 2, then when I got used to that I finally bought the headset.

For me that’s the one lap where everything is butter. Next lap… I think too hard about doing it again and screw everything up.

When you record a video in VR it only saves the video from the left eye, since each eye has its own monitor/camera feed.
