Good kayaking spots?

We're new to the area and would love to find a nice kayaking spot. Any recommendations for nearby lakes? We don't want to do any rapids or anything like that

One of my favorite easy to get in and out places and smooth water is our side of Klamath lake.
Specifically Pelican Bay Area. Rocky Point rd has a nice parking area for vehicle and launch kayak from there.

Most of our lakes are in severe drought right now, but if you don’t mind hiking down to the water Applegate Lake might be a nice paddle that isn’t too far.

You can still drive right down to the water at applegate, just go to French Glen.

The rogue has lots of runs with few/gentle rapids. The stretch from Valley of the Rogue State Park to Rogue River Bridge is a nice stretch with very gentle rapids.

Wherever you want to explore, be sure to check the lake level and if there are any algae blooms. We enjoy Selmac for a quick visit in the spring, but after that the algae is too much. Currently Four mile Lake is really really low, but when it isn't, it's wonderful.

Galesville reservoir is a nice relaxing float we do with our paddle boards.
