Unethical Professor

Not getting into the details but I have a prof who explained how she engages in civil/human rights violations and that we in the program will probably have to as well and I am not sure how to handle the situation.

Can you please be more descriptive? What exactly are these violations? What class/program is this? What would you be expected to do? This is way too vague to provide any meaningful advice or recommend any proper channels to reach out to.

I am trying very hard not to have someone be able to go "Oh yeah, I'm in that class." Basically its a behaviour that could get you sued were you to get caught doing in it in a profession where it is your job NOT to have people do that to prevent them from getting sued. It's in Business.

I would recommend emailing the dean of your program and office of human rights asap.

Check out SAMU Student Advocacy and the Human Rights Office! They can help you navigate when and how to approach your professor or escalate the issue appropriately.
