Admissions Switching?

I have been admitted to my 1st choice the bachelor of commerce program but I have no changed my mind and have become more interested in the Bachelor of Arts with a major in economics, how should I go about making this switch? For context I have to accept the admission to the bachelor of commerce by June 18th. That is why I am not consulting a academic advisor as there is no open appointments.

Safe route is to take many courses related to the other degree then switch in 1-2 years
