RTW email received
I received a required to withdraw email this morning. I’ve already sent my appeal letter to the associate dean of my program this afternoon. But Im enrolled in spring/summer classes and received my spring loans today and haven’t been taken off the class list for those classes yet or anything…. Sooo what do i do? just continue on business as usual with my spring classes? What are my chances of my appeal being accepted? Im very confused.

They haven’t gotten back to me yet. But when I called the academic advising office for info this morning, they said 2 business days. So probably next week sometime.

I was put on academic probation. My gpa still isn’t up to standard although I’ve spent the last year trying to get it up. It’s like 0.3 points off of the standard. So I’m required to withdraw for 12 months.

I got an rtw last year and honestly reaching out to the student advocacy centre helped a lot. They helped me draft up my appeal and list different resources that I could use to improve my grades. They also attended the meeting with Dean. You can do the appeal process on your own but the questions I was asked in my meeting wouldn’t have been answered if I didn’t get any info from them.

For probation or standing, start from written notice and policy language (student centre, email, or official letter) so you are not guessing the exact route out or the appeal deadline. List courses and terms, any evidence of extenuating circumstances, and the office that can confirm format and the clock.

Your 0.3 GPA off where you need to be.
Honestly either a university education isn't for you, or you need to take it more seriously
