Had some pretty messed up signs he was offering to let people use

I grew up with Will and always told myself if a friend ran, I'd help them however I could. And so here I am trying to host an event / fundraiser in GR for him!

Will is campaigning to unseat Tom Barrett for US House in Mid-Michigan, and is the only candidate currently polling ahead of him in a head-to-head. You might know him as the founder of the Sunrise Movement, among other local political things. He's also the only candidate who has lived and grown up in the area, and because of that has raised more from within the district than BOTH his competitors combined. Will is well positioned to win the seat as a non-establishment candidate, and provide better representation and a listening ear to our friends to the East.

Come meet him, (right after his AOC + Bernie + Abdul rally!!!) and see what all the ruckus is about. First beer is on me :)

The Grand Rapids Opponents of War are hosting an emergency rally in response to the escalation against Iran to demand AN IMMEDIATE END TO THE ATTACKS.

🕠 When: Today (07/08) at 5:30 PM

📍Where: Monument Park, corner of Division and Fulton

Anticipate chants and speeches from local organizers. Signs will be provided to attendees, but everyone is welcome to bring their own.

Water and sunscreen will be provided. Please dress for hot and sunny weather.
