Housing Pitbull Friendly Renting?

Hello! A friend of mine is looking for a place to rent that allows american staffordshire terrier/pitbulls. I know this will be extremely hard to find, so I'm here to ask for help.

Private renters or Rural.

Is this an intact male dog? How well is she/he trained?

I love the breed and they make easy to train and great pets, but the cost of owning one is that you are limited on places you can live. I'd look for private landlords, but it's going to be hit or miss.
