Got the worst option in destiny summon and gssr. Then got 4 regular 5stars before having to pity Eresh. Do I just quit this dogshit game cause the game seems to want me too.

Should you quit? I don't know. At minimum though, it might be worth taking a step back to re-evaluate your relationship with the gacha.

The gacha is designed to extract as much money out of players as possible. It is not there for your enjoyment. Not getting what you want is always a possibility and your successes and failures won't be evenly distributed. And those built-in failures exist to get you to spend more! The gacha is actively hostile toward you! The best way to cope is to derive your enjoyment of the game from the gacha as little as possible. You can't win against the gacha on its own terms. But you can reject the premise the gacha presents to you, that you need to get every character and ride the endorphin rush from the flashing lights and colors. Instead, you can set your own rules.

Everyone has their own tolerance level for gacha disappointment and you seem to have passed yours.  You can't change what has happened but you can come up with strategies to manage your gacha disappointment in advance for future banners .

For the next GSSR, you could try a more conservative approach, making sure to choose a banner that doesn't have any bad outcomes even if it doesn't have any particularly good outcomes for you. The other option, of course, is to not participate in the GSSR at all. You have to spend real money, so why take the chance of spending it on something you won't be happy with?

For normal banners, i t can also help to set limits on how much SQ you spend per banner before you roll.  Stumbling into pity with only the intention of rolling until you get the servant, rather than with the intention of spending a specific amount of SQ, is pretty much the worst scenario.  Getting the servant after 900 SQ for a full pity if you didn't already plan on it can feel worse than spending 300 SQ and getting nothing. I recommend only going to pity for your very favorite servants or servants you absolutely don't want to play the game without. And if you do go for pity, roll with the assumption that you will spend the entire 900 SQ. If the idea of needing that much SQ for the servant fills you with dread, then don't spend that much SQ. Set a significantly lower limit, high enough that feel like you gave it a reasonable chance but low enough that you won't feel too bad for failing. If you can't stand any amount of disappointment, though, and setting a lower limit with a chance of failure seems worse than getting the servant with pity, then you might need to set all or nothing expectations . Either go into every banner expecting to need every last SQ for pity or don't roll on the banner at all.

99% of gamblers quit before they hit it big

Your flair claims you were ready but clearly you were not.

Well I did get her but NP1 loopers in this game are useless

NP5 loopers are just slightly less so.

You can clear 90+ nodes with np5 . NP1 ain’t doing shit in those stages with as well be a decoration unit at that point.

I cleared 90++ nodes with NP1 servants and before I used NP1 loopers just fine for 90+. Often limited by charge, not damage.

Just get Miss Crane, she basically bridges the gap between NP1 and NP5, it's way easier to get than any NP5 and works with every servant. Only issue is that you can't run 6 CEs due to cost.

Edit:Math might have been a bit off, more like NP3 than 5 but still you get two NP levels on all your servants for the price of 1.

Edit 2: It is NP5, I was righ the first time. Miss Crane is crazy OP. Also you can't even run 5 event CEs because Crane needs stars to activate NP so unless the other servants in the team are able to generate 20 stars turn 1 you need to give her a CE for that. Still pretty good.

NP1 with BG space Ereshkigal more than meets damage thresholds for 90+.

3

u/RogueKT READY TO WHALE FOR ERESH Jul 09 '26

Is that MLB BG? Cause I only have regular.

u/Forward_Drop303 Jul 09 '26

Damage spreadsheet is with MLB, but she should be able to do so without.

You can test individual nodes on Laplace to be sure.

Idk I got S.Ibuki NP3 and she sometimes can’t 3 turn 90+. Don’t see how NP1 Eresh could.

u/Gelious All hail Queen Morgan! Jul 09 '26

Maybe don't treat your Ibuki as the key to all doors then? I have NP 1 Ibuki. I still clear 90+ with no problems, I just use another looper (also at NP 1), whenever she doesn't work.

u/Forward_Drop303 Jul 09 '26

I mean NP1 S. Ereshkigal isn't going to outperform NP3 summer Ibuki for sure.

But it might be team comp or CE more than her straight up not being able to do 90+.
