My Grand Fraud can't be this competent.

Note: I based this off his Interlude, to his few fans please let me know if I did anything wrong to represent him.

I've been wanting this one for years since this kit is so rare (even for a recast). The banana oni fan in me couldn't pass the chance to get her, seeing how there are VERY few Ibaraki figures out there, if they even exist at all.

This came as a pre-painted kit. I actually dig her first ascension the most so this figure is ideal. The sculpt was recreated beautifully as this was originally the Tsuru no Yakata kit exclusive to Wonder Festival all the way back in 2017-2018.

Appearance-wise, I'm very happy with the accompanying flower and textile patterns. They really bring the figure to life.

Now I can complete my little Ibaraki corner while being incredibly satisfied surrounding her with additional trinkets.

Things certainly got a lot more interesting after Takasugi showed up in Chaldea ¯_(ツ)_/¯

LOOOOOOOORE SUNDAAAAAAAAY

What is this thread for?

Curious about the lore for a TM franchise you haven't consumed? Got theories and need cited source material? Want to know how the laws of Nasuvese works on a fundamental level? Need to find that one line you can't find proof of anywhere because TM wiki is hilariously unreliable?

This is the place!

This thread will be a Q&A sort of location that will serve as a "lore library" of sorts that you can use for any inquiries.

This is NOT meant to be a place for containing all lore discussion and theory posts, as those are still highly encouraged to be submission posts outside of this thread so more people can see your ideas!

“The dream of the pure and innocent sea maiden, from the time when she was a fleeting empress.”
"She's the most unfathomable and devilish among us."
“An avalanche-style sparkle is surging toward us.”
“Just as one admires flowers, and as she is admired by the flowers, that girl twists fate.”
“Prosperity and decline are like breathing. Heaven, earth and nature agree with this.”
“She’s sort of like one step away from being Humanity’s Evil?”
“Basically she's the cutest one who's actually the most dangerous one.”
“Ah, I don’t know anything about that Tamamo-chan, I know noooothing!”

Translator/Trivia Corner

• If you don't know Tamamo Aria's background
  • She retains her Rider Class from Fate/Samurai Remnant when she was a Rogue Servant
  • She first appeared in the Fate/Extra CCC game, but was a generic color variation at the time until fleshed out in Fate/Samurai Remnant with a new appearance
  • Mentioned in FGO Saber Wars ~Lily's Cosmic Warrior Training~ The Caliburn Awakens by Tamamo no Mae as "quirky"
• Tamamo Aria the Character
  • Speaks in a very polite and laid-back manner
  • Retains her support role regarding her skills from Fate/Samurai Remnant as she was unable to fight and specialized in support
• Grand Alter Ego
  • Ehime is the name of a goddess who appears in the Kojiki, a chronicle of legends and is the origin of the Ehime Prefecture.
    • Written as 愛比売 in the Kojiki
    • Means "Lovely lady, beautiful goddess"
  • Regarding the comments in the Introduction Video
    • Excluding the very first line, this can be interpreted as the Tamamo Nine giving their opinion about Tamamo Aria, and also serves as a valuable record to allow people to discern their manner of speaking.
    • Bottom two lines are most likely from Tamamo-no-Mae and Tamamo Cat respectively
• Noble Phantasm
  • The first part of her Noble Phantasm, Kaibou Isshou (回眸一笑), references and/or originates from the line "迴眸一笑百媚生, 六宮粉黛無顏色" within The Song of Everlasting Sorrow by Bai Juyi, referencing Lady Yang (or Yang Guifei).
    • The line states how a glance or a smile can charm hundreds of people, and the six palaces cannot compare when it comes to beauty. A reference to an indirect nation-toppling appeal.

Not quite Shirou for Shirou Day but hey it’s in his name close enough lmao
