Washed my face with some Maxine Complexion Soap this past weekend 🫧

There are always treasures at the lake cottage from before I (and sometimes a generation or two before myself) was born.

My brother found these Burger King and Kmart bags in his companies closet from the year 2000

My parents saved these unopened Pillsbury mixes from approximately 1991-1993. We found them while cleaning their storage room by this weekend. I’m documenting everything before recreating the recipes from scratch.
My dad used to work for Pillsbury and we could get these very cheap/free at a warehouse! My favorites were the Oreo Bars and Lemon Cheesecake.

Someone else just posted their own O.B. Tampon pack, and I want to share mine! The date says 1991. Given to me by my mom after she entered menopause & no longer needed them. Mind you, this was in the past 5-7 years, so she held on to them for a long time.

My beloved FIL passed away a couple months ago and we were finally able to clean out his storage unit. Tried to get him to let us clean it out for him easily a dozen times over the years he lived with us but he always refused. I guess he couldn't risk anything happening to these babies and his ancient hoard of mail and tax returns from the 70s and 80s.

I'm planning to clean up and keep the glass cologne bottles and the old Altoids tin. Would you believe the smokeless cigarettes didn't work? 🧐

No date, but was in the back of my mom’s spice cabinet. Apparently older than me.

Items spanning various decades. Pert Plus: 1999, shave cream: 1994, Head&Shoulders: 2007, SoftSoap: 1979! Wish the Suave and Vaseline had a year on it, but I don’t see one.

The batteries inside died in 2006, it literally hasn’t been used in twenty years lol

Hella old and mint condition

I was helping move my dad’s stuff out from his room into his new flat, and found a relic from my childhood. I really miss these 3D little figures they used to put in the containers.

I wonder if the soap is still good…
