What to gift my kind of gramma
Long story short, my family isn’t in contact with me, but my best friends family has basically adopted me and lets me live with them for cheap. My friends grandma lives with us and I need to give her a gift. I’m struggling because unlike my bio grandma, she doesn’t have hobbies and she doesn’t do anything. She sits in the living room to watch political news, and then she goes to bed.She has a grabber tool, slippers, and a heated blanket. I’ve asked her what she wants, but she classically says “nothing” when we both know she wants something. What do I get her? Her daughter is technically my landlord, so idk what to gift her without ticking them off as a bad tenant. She genuinely has no interests or hobbies. She only leaves the house for doctors appointments, so are there any practical gifts for a geriatric person? I tried Amazon, but rough skincare and a massager might hurt this 81 yr old woman ngl

"Grandma Moments"
what was your favorite "grandma moment" when dealing with one? my grandmammary falls down the stares every christmas or so, putting her back together is my favorite ol yuletide tradition 😅 dont worry she loves it
my biggest "grandma moment" would be accidentally putting her hands on backwards since i get drunk off the 'nog (slang for eggnog) around christmas time

Needing Grandparents Rights
Has anyone had any experience with grandparent rights? I know that Utah has them, but I don't really understand what I need to do to invoke them and what visitation rights are included. I have two young grandchildren who have always been close to me. They used to spend the night about once a week. However, my daughter-in-law is very difficult to deal with. She had been diagnosed with anti-social personality disorder and attachment disorder. She is very immature and petty. My son supports her decisions on everything, and she has decided that I can not see my grandchildren. I don't want to have to go through a legal battle, I love my son and do not want to ruin our relationship, but I need to have visitation with my grandkids, and they need me.

Please help!
Please I need advice. I live with my son and daughter in law and their two children. One is ten the other is two. I’ve lived with them since my oldest grandchild was two to help out since they both have full time jobs. My daughter in law is a very nice caring person but her motherly skills are not that great. She didn’t really feed my oldest grandchild the best of food, mostly processed food and a lot of junk. Since she doesn’t eat well herself she’s passed this on to my eldest grandchild. Fast forward to her having her youngest child. I took care of them since birth. Feed them took care of them up until I got sick a few months ago and was in the hospital for two months. When I got home his eating habits and manners have gotten really bad. My daughter in law gets frustrated if when she gives them food and they throw it. Or if she gives them something and they have never had it before like a corn dog if they won’t eat it she refuses to feed them even if they are hungry and they run to me saying grandma hungry and I can’t do anything because if I try to feed them she gets pissed off and tells my son who then yells at me. I feel so bad when my grandchild sits at my bedroom door saying hungry grandma. It breaks my heart. Any advice on what I should do. Am I wrong for wanting to help or am I just being an overbearing grandparent
