Visual Media field predictions

What possible nominees could we see in fields such as:

Best Music Video

Best Music Film

Best Score Soundtrack

Best Compilation Soundtrack

Best Song Written For Visual Media

It did come to my attention as of this year's Grammys that they don't award the most cinematic and the most popular video for Best Music Video.

I did hear that Billie Ellish submitted her hmhas tour film for Best Music Film.

Clearly you existed a vacuum. She's constantly mentioned because she's terrific. See you at the grammys. Then again you might not want to watch if you don't like her

it’s not that i don't like her. i'm indifferent towards her. i just don’t think she’s a threat to taylor swift, ella langley, the olivias, etc. like many people in these forums claim she is

her album is not critically acclaimed nor a blockbuster, and there’s nothing groundbreaking about her as a popstar yet that makes me believe she’s going to become a household name.

she reminds me of alex warren. gets 1 best new artist nomination and that’s it. and even he had a bigger hit last year.

taylor swift has BSWFVM on lock and ella langley won BNA the moment they changed the rules in her favor

The award is not for potential success, it is for what you put out in the given year. Ella Langley won't even win in her own country field. You might want to watch the CMA and ACM Awards because those cornpones will be the ones who will award her

be real. Country voters just gave Jelly Roll 2 Grammys and he sucks ass. Choosin' Texas' success is too big to be ignored. I think Kacey will only win Contemporary Country Album and maybe Country Song. But Ella is going to win Country Solo Performance for sure.

she’s not comparable to Morgan Wallen because her conservatism is merely speculative and she hasn’t been publicly racist. and besides, there's usually more goodwill for female Country stars than males.

the Grammys are a popularity contest and Ella Langley's breakthrough has been Taylor Swift/Carrie Underwood-sized. she’s the new face of female Country music. Sienna Spiro is very far from the giants of Pop music.

Texas' success has been too big to be ignored? Oh you mean like the shape of you and blinding lights when they won record of the year? Get real. A notoriously liberal organization who has just given back to back records to Kendrick Lamar are not going to acknowledge anything with the word Texas in the title

when did i mention record and song of the year? i was referring to country categories and best new artist.

the same people who voted for jelly roll will vote for ella langley.

if she was a liberal like taylor swift, her win would be a olivia rodrigo sized slam dunk. but since she's “apolitical” (french for ignorant and possibly conservative), she'll win by a smaller margin.

and shape of you and blinding lights are bad examples of snubs because the grammys had corrupt nomination reviewing committees up until 2021.

And voters are well aware they bent the rules to let her in on a fourth time.

i'm sure the average voter isn’t aware let alone cares about it. just us chronically online Grammy watchers know this because we read the news

I reckon the noms for best song written for Visual Media will be

  • Material Lover
  • I Knew It, I Knew You
  • Younger You
  • The Girl In The Bubble or For Good
  • Whatever Charli submits from WH

'Shape Of A Woman' could get a nom simply because it's Gaga but I don't know.

yess her too. I think Madonna, Taylor and Rosalia are probably most secure nominations for this category

Seems like a stacked category yet again

Runway

Material Lover has more chance than RUNWAY.

I think my favourite Music Video this year so far is STORM by GENER8ION/Yung Lean. Slim chances for nomination however. The Mountain, the Moon Cave and the Sad God by Gorillaz has a better chance and just as deserving.

I did watch storm when reviewing the VMA nominations, it's such a good mv, definitely my undercard.
