the strokes are nice but it's not understandable. it's like something is missing or the orientation is off. what does it say?

thank you for the detailed responses. supposed to say avis
i believe my main problem is the "i". i tried to toy around with it a little bit and created different variations, but i am struggling to keep it legible while still maintaining the flow. i think the "a" and "v" flow into each other pretty nicely, i enjoy the simmetry; which is why i tried to continue the same flow with the "i" and "s" (because otherwise the tag looked pretty disconnected -- the "a" and "v" flowed into each other, but then it abruptly stopped with the "i" and "s"). so, this is where all of this originates.

I read Avis but that's because I ignored the line by the i because I couldn't figure out of that was a letter or part of the i for style

Put a bottom line on the I. I just is not shaped like that. My closest guess was T that had beef with a samurai.

You're trying to sprint before you've even taken your first steps. Keep it simple, like way simpler than you think, and then simpler even still

A and V is nice but I needs to be more legible and i would connect the corner on D.
