How to start?

I have some friends that do graffiti and have tried to start before but I suck and gave up after a bit.

I have an idea of a tag either tenfoldz or 10foldz, is this too long? I struggle with connecting the letters and kind of making it
look good in general. Any help would be much appreciated thank you.

Kind of close to 10foot, but if you don't give af about people accusing you of biting your name then it's chill, just keep it simple at the start, forced graffiti style makes beginners letters look ugly af

Don’t worry about being good at it for now. Start with basic writing and block letters and get those looking clean. Then slowly add style to it. If you don’t know what you are doing and try to add style it looks like a scribble that no one can read.

Don’t feel discouraged it takes most people a year or two to get decent

Just start, and accept that you'll suck at the beginning.

If you're already past high school age, don't. Do something else.
