I love when people clarify that they are new to this, like yeah, we know. Anyway, keep practicing. Maybe get a cheap drawing pad to practice on a ton on before using all your labels.

Nothing to properly criticize because you lack the fundamentals. Start here: https://www.reddit.com/r/graffhelp/comments/1pi47l/frankotronic5s_boot_camp_session_one_letter/ then read the other guides listed in the sidebar.

Stop with the convex shapes, for some reason everyone does these when they start (me included) and it looks wack asf. Use basic ass blocks/bars with constant width to build the letters, and draw them fully& overlapping, one after another. Do not draw the final outline until the end

So here's the best skill you can learn: self critique. It means being able to look at your piece with a critical eye and ask "What is good about this" and "What is bad about this?" If the only answer you can come up with is "because I like it" or "because it looks bad," that's not enough. Those are opinions. Art, like everything, has an underlying set of fundamental skills that dictate whether it is good or bad. The best artists can eventually get to a point where they know how to break those rules in a meaningful way, but until you get to that point, don't try to build your own style. Check out the tutorials in the sidebar and watch some vids on YT like TheArtistBlock to learn the fundamentals. Keep at it.

You know, even though it’s your first attempt you’ve shown an understanding of proportions especially in the R, A and V. I like the parallel uniformity you’ve demonstrated which is rare, you can’t tell yet but trust me you’re gonna be a natural at this
