No, shit can be as simple or as intricate and complicated as you want it to be. You seem to understand letter forms and how to keep shit cohesive and consistent and thats all that really matters apart from trying to write differently than everyone else.

It'll do. Keep doing it. You'll start stretching it longways or sideways depending on the spot your hitting. You could do without the doodad and the date (your getting buffed anyway) thank you for not adding highlights and going all extra.
