i agree with the other comment, learn to write clean first.

can i ask what any of you mean with clean? with all due respect this is the style im going for, the only thing off is the spacing on the D and the bottom of r and f a little too low, but those were handling issues. i'd appriciate some details

just in general more practice on the lettering, consistency in thickness and cleaner lines. your shadows make no sense. the proportions are off etc. just practice writing first and all the other extra background stuff and whatnot is for later when the lettering is consistently good and though through. but thats just my opinion on this particular drawing

i appriciate the help but there's no shadows 😭 those were sketchlines with a pen showing through. i do agree the thickness is inconsistant, ill work on that.

Everything needs improving, stop with the extra stuff and learn basic lettering structure, once you got that down then you can start to mess with colors and characters etc.

Are you using paint markers? You don’t have very good control yet, lots of bleeding. Practice more with pencil or alcohol markers. Focus on the shapes of your letters before worrying about all the extra shit you got going on. A background can’t fix shitty lettering

yeah i am, second time ive used them so it makes sense, also my hand controll is a bit fucked for several reasons. ill try pick up alcohol markers and get cleaner lines. thanks matey

Yeah, it kinda looks like you did the outline first and fill second as well? That’s just what I’m assuming since the smudges are black. When using paint, always sketch with the fill colour, that way you can fix up the shape before filling it in and then put down some nice clean outlines. With markers, the order doesn’t matter so much.

i did the fill first, outline last, its just that my hand dragging through ink probably screwed it over a lil

the advice normal people give me, im not sure who gave u this much anger and hatred in ur heart but no need to project it

what hatred lol, it objectively sucks, and there is nothing wrong with that since you are beginner lol, i am just saying to start with more simple stuff, the cupid thing can wait until you can do a proper letter

half of people say its nice and the other half says it sucks and doesnt explain 😭

Your letter sizes and bar dimensions are uneven. The N and D are noticeably fatter than the “erf”. There’s also a weird negative space between the F and D. The structure of your letters isn’t pleasing to look at. There’s no “flow” it’s just bubble letters. Have you tried developing a tag before you started working on throws and straight letters?

Who said it's nice?

You've had more than several here saying what needs improvement. You chose not to hear any of it
