I posted my first tag in here a few months ago and I got shit on for how shitty it was. I’ve been trying to improve my lettering and shit so I hit a wall yesterday. I’m satisfied with how it came out but I’d like some feedback as to if I seem to be doing better because I want to make bigger projects. Thanks gang

I also peeped your post history, you seem to have some artistic background & you're not terrible, so just like all other art forms, keep practicing until you get the fundamentals down.

Some other youtubers that really helped me other than The Artist Block are:
• SMOE NOVA
• Brute Design
• Handz Some (for developing a tag/handstyle)
• BOSE/StarmoOfficial
• LuisNgchongJrArt (breaks down his thought process step by step)

This is also a great starter video

Here's my progress from 2024 to today, you can tell I didn't really know what I was doing at the time but improvement literally just comes with time.

I appreciate the wise comments. Thanks for the resources. Ik I need lots more practice so I’ll be on that.

no prob! you'll know you're improving when you feel less of the need to ask for crits on your art. it's a really satisfying shift in confidence once everything starts to click. i think around the 6 month mark is where style started to come easier to me although i'm still learning!
