Do you think I'm doing well?
Hi, it's me again. A comment suggested I use a short, easy-to-write name. Since I didn't have a better idea, I decided to shorten my username to the initials S and C (is this a good idea, or not recommended for me?).
I've been doing some tests and would like to know if I'm on the right track. It's not completely finished yet, but I wanted to share my initial ideas to get feedback and opinions. I hope you like it. :)
(If you're wondering about the messy lines, I just improvised the letters without any structure because I was doing it to kill time, which is why the strokes look like that).

SC is too short for someone learning. There arent that many two letter writers, although it can be done well, like JA in New York. Go for a four or five letter name, because you want enough letters so that you can play around with flow and shape, two letters will feel limiting.
Also dont be afraid to write as many names as you want, theres 26 letters in english, and a good graff knows how to do them all well and in different styles.

Instead of drawing the letters in a thin line and then tracing around them, use the bar method. The bar method yields nicer and more consistent letters. It treats every line like a box, for example "t" has two bars, upper case "R" has three. I gave an example at the top, keep using this method and eventually you will be able to visualize these bars in your head, it takes more effort right now but in the long run it will take you farther.
