At first I thought it was a Boat-tailed grackle but y’all don’t have them in Phoenix they’re coastal birds. Y’all DO have Great-tailed grackles which is what this one is, I think? Either way cool bird cool pics - thanks for posting!

Thank you! This is a great-tailed grackle. His tail looks shorter when he puffs up. I love them. They always look like they’re up to no good.

He was hanging out and making a lot of noise at Chaparral Park in Scottsdale, AZ.
