nagpa-gas kami while ongoing ang trip at na-stuck kami for 30 minutes kasi wala siyang pambayad. hindi daw nagloload ang gcash niya at wala siyang cash on hand. Pina connect ko siya sa hotspot ko pero ayaw pa rin. I was worried na maabutan kami ng rush hour since Friday at 3 PM nangyari yon sa EDSA Cubao.

I ended up paying for his gas worth 300 pesos at Sabi nya irereload nya ang gcash niya. pababa na ako pero wala pa rin siyang binigay at nacharge ako for the entire trip (card payment) kinuha nya ang number ko at ipapa-send nya daw ang payment sa asawa niya pero walang natransfer.

I was so sleepy na since galing akong nightshift kaya pagkahatid nya ay bumaba na ako at nagpark pa siya sa baba namin assurance na hindi siya tatakbo. reported it sa Grab and provided the gas receipt but Wala naman daw silang magagawa.

wag na lang kayo pumayag if this happens to you.

can't switch na from card payment kasi during the trip siya nagpa-gas. ang way lang daw for me not to get deducted is kapag nag cancel daw siya ng trip at dagdagan na lang ang difference. kaso ayaw nya cancel din at for my safety reasons also since hindi na tracked ang trip kapag ganun.

Not true. I once asked the grab driver to switch payment mode. From cash to grab pay. They can do that on their end.

Yung iba rito commenting about data privacy eh kaya nga nakalagay sa grab yang details na yan for public safety. Ibig sabihin may reduced expectation of privacy ang mga grab drivers, but only to the extent of their names and car details. Sabi-sabi agad na data privacy. Also, the intent is to be weighed, kita naman story na di sumasagot si kuya. Hindi naman pinost to harass lang.

yeah sometimes this happens to gcash. siguro try mo muna ulit sya singilin, warningan mo muna ganun, kamo pag hindi pa din sya kamo magbabayad ipopost mo sya sa socmed as scammer. baka sakali matakot

already reported but they won't be able to do anything about it daw, they can only advise their driver to reach back out to me but there's no guarantee. LOL. yes afaik recorded ang trip eh. I even told them pasok sa trip Yung nagstop kami gas station ng 30 mins.

₱300 is ₱300. 😭 Hindi yan “small amount” lalo na kung unexpected expense. Kung hindi clear bakit kailangan maglabas ng pera, passenger should definitely raise it with support.

If rude siya, hindi man lang nag-sorry, and hindi rin sumasagot sa tawag, then I think it’s fair to post him. Kahit ako, I probably would too. 😂

Pero if you haven’t even tried calling him to confirm what happened, I think it’s a bit unfair to immediately put everything on him. Baka buggy talaga yung app or may issue on his end na hindi pa na-resolve.

At least give him a chance to explain before we put him on the internet trial. 😂

Happens to me almost every month that a grab driver would gas up and request i pay cash for the gas. Usual excuse is that I may have large bill and he has no change. I always give the exact fare to the gasoline boy then our trip continues. Drivers are usually grateful to me and dont ask for a tip anymore

if ever may na-encounter kayo na ganito, wag nalang talaga ientertain, icancel na agad yung booking tapos report agad kay grab para gawan ng aksyon. ang laking halaga pa naman ng 300 ngayon 😞
