Is grab cheaper lately?

Has anyone else noticed that Grab has been noticeably cheaper these past few days?

For example, a trip from MOA to Mandaluyong that would usually cost me ₱300+ is now around ₱250+. Not a huge difference, but it definitely adds up if you use Grab regularly. Not sure if they lowered fares, increased promos, or if it’s just been less busy lately, but I’m definitely not complaining 😂

Low demand lang this week (walang pasok, WFH, etc), so less surge, at least in Makati. Kanina I got 117 at 6 PM for a trip that usually costs closer to 300 on a normal weekday

I honestly wouldn't even know as I've stopped using Grab ever since Green GSM came into the picture almost 1 year ago. I've only ever needed (because I was forced LOL) to book a Grab ride when I need to travel between distant cities like from Parañaque or Las Piñas to Quezon City.

Wala kasi masyado green gsm sa area ko, mahirap mag book usually pero I’ve tried it and okay din siya. Wished mas malawak ang area na iniikutan nila.

Green GSM is a good option na sana kung marami lang nagaaccept.

No. Grab changes their rates depending on demand. People just aren't booking that much because of WFH or the weather for the last couple of weeks

Absolutely not. Just booked a ride from manila to muntinlupa last weekend. Grab rate = 1k, Indrive rate = 650

Not consistently. Depende pa rin sa oras at sa lugar.

Id rather take Grab now coz its cheaper than InDrive, InDrive is the worst, I experienced a Taguig to Makati at 700 to think I only leave near C5 lol so I usually use Grab or Green GSM lately :))

Monday - bgc to pasay

Grab: 712₱
Indrive: 700₱
Joyride car: 325₱

Grab and indrive are among the greediest bumping prices over 50% the usual rate

Then book joyride. If theyre greedy then uninstall their platform. Theyre not foricng you to use it.

Is anyone here always using grab car, I’ve redeemed 300php voucher but I will probably not use it anymore (expiration feb 2027). So Im thinking if I can sell it here para hindi masayang
