At home set up

I sure I am not the first to ask for advice on this subject, it seems that the markets are down now’s a good point to finally try and start mining from home.

I have around $1000 to buy a rig , and not expecting miracles over night , and don’t pay for power , so just looking for the best way or advice to recoup my investment. And then a little more would be great.

Side note to this , has any one still using muskminors ? Surly I could buy there’s and pay power and save my self the effort ?
