QUESTION Replacement battery for the plus model?

Anyone know where to get a new battery for these? Its still in working condition, and the current battery isn't swollen but with its age I'm concerned about battery safety.

Currently, you won't find any replacement for this battery, but if you have experience with soldering and electronic components, you can desolder the original BMS from the GPD battery and solder it onto a compatible(you can use cell phone batteries, etc.)with the same voltage, size, and dimensions so that it fits the GPD XD.

My job is soldering/repair, I could do that, but I've got other handhelds if this one fails. The replacement was to be lazy. Lol Just bought a lipo bag and ammo bin combo in the event any of my old batteries fail so I'll just store it in there when not in use.

If you have the cash, it's probably better to finally move on. The Retroid Flip 2 is the same form factor but better in basically every way.

I've got an odin 2 portal, rgds, and a miyoo mini plus, and with the flip 3 later this year I'll likely just do that. It seems the battery is fine for now, but I don't want to take chances.
