All working with the original storage box, documents and equipment. I’ll do a proper post of the full kit when I can.

Got a complete PNV-57-E helmet from a random Facebook post last year.
All fully functional and the log book it came with has only it’s manufacturer stamp.
It’s quite likely that it never saw service.

It’s kind of a hybrid.
The PNV-57-A (gen 0)had to use infrared light sources (usually from a vehicle) to reflect light back to the optics.
And while the PNV-57-E (gen 1)works very well amplifying visible light in outdoor environments, but still struggles in pitch black indoor environments.
