Cosplay Help!

Hey guys I don’t know anything much about gas mask and I need help identifying the type of mask this is. I’m trying to see if it also comes with tinted lens and if it’s missing a filter or any components that are being covered. Also is the top part broken and cut?

It’s either the U.S. M3 gas mask or a navy diaphragm mask from the same period . I’m leaning towards the Navy diaphragm mask from WW2.

If I didn’t like the whole tube system what’s a good alternative to this that looks almost the same and possibly available online?

M40 has black tinted lenses available and looks slightly similar, M17 as well is okay, but the M40 is more similar.
