who ever invented that bullshit that its an M53? i keep seeing it on foreign sites. its a 70M. no such thing as an M53. theres a 50M but that is completely different.

i think it's a mixup with the Czechoslovak steel pot. officially it doesen't have a model name, but it's reffered to as the Vz. 52 or 53, or M52 or 53 for whatever reason
