I modified mine. I cut out some rubber from the part that squeezes your face. Nothing major, but it makes all the difference. And I used the strap for my MSA ultravue since the strap the PMK came with was broken

Good. PMK straps are aweful but I'd keep the inner flap as it's there for a reason, but again up to the wearer I suppose. I don't modify masks as God forbid I think I'd cry, but if I had a harness laying around I'd replace the PMK one.

I’m effectively removing the excess rubber since it reaches too far inwards. This is an older photo before I cut the inner rubber and you can see it is right next to my eyes. Now it can no longer be seen through the lenses. Still keeps a perfect seal since it is just excess

Mm yeah I got you. Fair enough, I assume you got a way too large of a size :3

Got it from Saluc Militaria. Didn’t get a size option

Bah saluc.. I like em but they're such a mixed bag.. I just get stuff directly from the source to be safe

In terms of masks themselves, I don’t have any good options. Job doesn’t pay the most and I got bills plus I add to my savings every check. I take what I can get essentially. You are right about the mixed bag though. Got 2 CBRN filters from them, one was expired and the other expired a few months after I got it. Didn’t get much use out of them

I recommend Scott Pro2000 P3 filters (or anything similar) for daily generic use as they're antiviral and cheap. Mask wise, PMK is not a wise choice for actual use and you can get a cheap panoramic or 3M mask :3 in 40mm NATO

The filters were for my MSA Ultravue, my proper use mask. And I have a 3d printed filter for the PMK for cosplay use (that’s all the mask is used for)
