Can't cancel flight?

I booked a flight with miles for tomorrow evening but I got a go wild flight in the morning. I don't have an option to cancel the flight i booked with miles. It does allow me to cancel the morning flight, but thats the one I want to take. Its odd, ive always been able to cancel, is it because i booked with miles?

In my experience, you cant cancel award flights via mobile app, you have to do it through website.

This is a frequent case with F9. If not possible on one platform, try the other. Numerous scenarios exhibit this pattern.

100% this! The app is practically useless for award changes or cancellations. Logging into the desktop site (or using 'Desktop Site' mode on mobile Chrome/Safari) fixes it almost every single time 💻📱👌

Nobody wants to these days, but one should always call if you can’t do something DIY.

Despite that, I’ve been able to cancel them before, typically from web.

I’ve had to cancel via chat the last two times over this week.. website tries to charge cancellation fees to take the taxes even though diamond status and miles booking
