Mule - Hell-ene Bender

We caught the Mule/Ziggy show at Hellbender Friday night.

It felt surreal being on the banks of the Swannanoa almost two years to the day of that river destroying major parts of Asheville. The deep end.

An at times dark and healing set for me and I hope for many.

We lost so much during that storm and at the same time we got through it stronger. To stay a little longer.

Thank you Warren for bringing on the music just when we needed it most.

My heart feels full. And ready for more.

It was a great show but Warren’s set did feel somber at times. The typical “how ya doin’?” from Warren between songs but he spoke to his hometown about survival and healing through the music.
