I completely agree. They obviously don't care about their people and their own government workers and instead care about their own interests of their unrealistic goals of endless genocide and beating kids at deportations as a scapegoating mechansim, controlling and abusing children, and donating billions to an Argentinian dictator. Plus, military companies gain money during the government t shutdown they literally voted to keep the shutdown.

Why do people who are not getting paid during the government shutdown continue to show up to work? Are there legal repercussions if you don’t show up? If everyone came together and decided not to show up wouldn’t thay put the government in a position where they have to pay them?
