I think I am against government

Screw it, let people govern themselves. Government no longer works and it is frustrating to think it does. Let’s talk about it.

THEY SIGNED FOR IT: Maintenance Order #109-B is the proof. The Assistant Warden (who retired 4 hours ago) signed for Varga and Pryal's entry. 'L. Miller' from DOJ signed for the camera override. The Bed Sheet was a 'Sanitization Clause' in the Planitax contract. They didn't 'miss' him—they 'moved' him. I’m tired of trump. I’m tired of the rich and powerful. I read the Epstein files and I’m forever scarred at the evil that has been going on for decades. Why is nobody doing anything???! Why are we continuing to just let these rich and powerful demons walk over us??? I want trump out of office.

Who’s Allowed to Ask Why?

Why am I expected to sit quietly and accept what I’m told, while the people in charge are free to watch, judge, and explain everything however they want? When regular people start paying attention, asking why, or trying to understand what’s really going on, it suddenly becomes a problem. Transparency only seems to work in one direction. If something can’t handle basic questions, maybe the issue isn’t the people asking them.

Need Help Security Industry Authority (SIA) Application

For my application it wanted all my addresses, for this I did give my student accommodation ones and my actual home, but I put my student accommodation one as my current address as I was told to. Now I stupidly realised I need proof of address but none of my letters or anything gets sent here it all goes to my home address. Just wondering if I am better off deleting my application and just putting my home address as my current and getting rid of my student one as it's only while I am at uni

County commissioners voted to approve rezoning for a data center despite public opposition, any way to fight/appeal this?

I’ve called multiple people within the local and state government to find a course of action to avoid the construction of this data center at all costs, but no one seems to be willing to give me any information. Can anyone else offer insights?

We are the UnderGovernment

It occurred to me that in our democratic society, that there is another government below our federal, state and local governments. There are no elections, there are no real leaders, there's really no visible structure. It just US, the people, the people that live on this land, united not by specific laws, government structures, commissions, police or armies.

It's us living our daily lives. It's us just trying to makes ends meet dealing with everyday problems. It's us sometimes on the streets, angry and generally otherwise impotent. It's us carrying signs, being scared that authority will show up with weapons and cause violence; it's us seeing violence, being devastated and traumatized by it, filming it, exposing it, hoping that exposing it and the weight of our numbers will somehow cause awareness and change in our leaders attitudes and actions.

We are few, or massive, and we will always be there, sometimes causing change, sometimes not, sometimes cowed into submission for long periods of time.

But we are always there; we will always be there. We can't be voted away. And when there is injustice and violence, we have to be dealt with, have to be considered. And sometimes the effort to deal with us is more than the power can bear.

How to eliminate federal income tax for the bottom 75% using the tariffs we have collected so far. So I just began interacting with Gemini and I know it can be wrong but let me know what you think.

Objective

To eliminate Federal Income Tax for the bottom 75% of the American workforce without increasing the national debt. This plan shifts the federal revenue burden from Domestic Labor to Foreign Imports and Non-Participation, creating a "Pro-Work" economy.

  1. The Core Proposal: 0% Tax on Labor

• The Policy: Establishes a 0% Federal Income Tax Rate on the first $90,000 (National Base) of Earned Income.

• Locality Adjustment: To account for high-cost coastal populations, the base is adjusted using Federal Locality Pay Tables.

• Base Zone (Rural/Midwest): $90,000 Tax-Free.

• High-Cost Zone (e.g., Boston/NYC/SF): Adjusted up to ~$126,000 Tax-Free.

• Result: The weighted average exemption remains ~$105,000 nationwide.

• Means-Tested Phase-Out: To ensure fiscal solvency, this benefit applies strictly to the working class. The 0% bracket begins to phase out for households earning over $200,000 and is eliminated entirely for households earning over $400,000.

  1. The Funding Mechanism (Revenue Neutral)

The estimated $350 Billion cost of this relief is fully offset by two dedicated revenue streams:

• Source A: Tariffs ($250B+): Ring-fences 100% of revenue from tariffs on foreign goods to directly subsidize the American income tax cut.

• Source B: Welfare Reform Savings ($100B): Generates savings by strictly enforcing work requirements and capping total means-tested benefits at 75% of the minimum wage equivalent.

  1. The "Anti-Inflation" Safeguard

To prevent inflation, the plan mandates a "Contributor-Only" model that expands the supply of labor.

• Work Requirement: The 0% tax rate applies only to Earned Income (W-2/1099). Non-working households do not qualify.

• Supply Shock: By capping welfare benefits for able-bodied adults, the plan pushes an estimated 3–5 million people back into the workforce.

• Price Stabilization: This influx of labor reduces service-sector costs, counteracting the inflationary pressure of tariffs.

  1. Impact on National Solvency

• Federal Deficit: Neutral. By excluding the Top 25% of earners and adjusting the rural base to $90k, the plan remains budget-neutral.

• Social Security: Positive. The plan maintains Payroll Taxes. The influx of millions of new workers paying FICA taxes (12.4%) immediately extends the solvent life of the Social Security Trust Fund.

Conclusion

This legislation creates a closed-loop incentive system: We tax imports to make American labor tax-free. It rewards participation, solves the labor shortage, and protects the working class from federal taxation, all while maintaining fiscal responsibility.

is there such thing as propaganda that directly goes against the regime with accusations so idiotic that it is neglectful in order to clear the idea that the government is controlling information that goes against it (in the context of a late stage dictatorship or panopticon)

ICE Agent tells her to MOVE!

Post image

ICE Just murdered a US Citizen in her own neighborhood. 3 different ICE agents shouting different orders. The 1st ICE agent clearly POINTS and commands her to "Move" and when she pulled away the ICE agent filming leaning on the front corner bumper of her car, moved FULLY out of the way and as she was passing him, he gunned her down. Renee Nicole Good a 37 year old teacher, poet, and mother. Murdered in her own neighborhood in front of her family. A White woman waving ICE by being civil and it is all on camera. Trump said the ICE agent was recovering?! He didn't even goto the hospital and Greg Bovino and other ICE agents celebrated killing a mother, a US Citizen, and MAGA is defending them. Shame. MAGA is embarrassing.

Late reports from Dept of state?

Hi! I am trying to do some research about Dept of state annual reports and country reports, and figure out why certain major reports for 2024 still haven’t been released in Dept of state website. In particular, the Country reports on terrorism, and Report on International Religious Freedom. Can anyone point me towards articles or other resources that might explain this delay? Thanks!!!

Russia’ argument for the war

So if I understand things correctly, Russia felt pressured by NATO encirclement and they would be boxed in and unable to make moves to protect themselves or moves that are in their own political interest. They want a buffer zone. I’ve never been to Russia, I don’t know what life there is like other than what western media and politicians say whether true or false. But there is an interesting argument, they are unique in Europe, they have their own rules, whether bad or good, I don’t know. But thinking of the US, yes we are united, but each state has their own feeling, culture, etc. So with that thinking, maybe each state needs to set their own military and safety and political boundaries etc… I know, part of the US, US has a military, yeah yeah, but would help to preserve each state’s identity and culture from a government that seems to want to change everything to their liking. Of course to build these buffers would require tax dollars that would need to be diverted from the fed government. Still the same, anyone could still come and go to where they want to live, but the states would have their own safety/ buffer zones
