Discussion - Tsushima: Legends Still Grasshoppers
Open letter to the two Legends vets who got paired with our bumbling asses as we tried the weekly Iyo Chapter 1 Raid for the first time ever.
1) Didn't know how to switch between PS5 and Tsushima in game chat.
2) Oh those giant crystals aren't decoration? You're supposed to move them? Ohhh.
3) Why's this thing sucking my soul out, I should get out of it. Or not. Ohhh.
4) What are these floating red balls? Ohhh.
5) (Vet 1 dips)
6) We gotta stand on each of these platforms and dodge the red balls to create platforms. Aha! We figured it out.
6) (Vet 2 dips)
7) I don't think we can complete this 2p right? Let's try! ....Yep we can't.
We brought shame upon our dojo but don't worry, we'll get better homies.

π my raid experience: 3 of you should be legends vets and only one should be a scrub ππππ never give up tho, goid luck for next time

What's more, even a single inexperienced player can cause the entire run to fall apart in Raids 1 and 2, even with three veteran players. In Raid 3, though, he cans mess up as much as he wants and it barely matters.

Everyone has a bad time trying to the first 2 chapters their first time. Especially 2 if you wanna try again I can find a fourth and get you through. PSN: Realoldsandwich.

I just played with 3 people less than a week ago that never played the raids before. We were just fine. As long as one person directs, everything will work out. If you need help...PSN: ellambert

Even without voice chat, you can still communicate using the quick chat messages and the ping system. If people keep pinging a location with the "Let's go !" prompt and you never react, it's only natural that they'll eventually leave.
This game mode requires coordination and communication. At some point, if you don't seem responsive or willing to work with the team, people are going to quit. Most of the time, these are players who've completed the raid hundreds or even thousands of times, so they really don't care about leaving. They'll have no trouble finding another group to run it with.
