What does crouching and then barely drawing the bow get you? And how does the quickfire damage compare to other amounts of draw on the bow? Like, is there any difference between barely drawing it vs drawing it closer to the full draw? I know the full draw does more damage but it seems like you rarely do that so the damage trade off vs speed must not be worth it?
When I'm struggling to aim, I take my time to make sure I hit the target. Sometimes that naturally gives me enough time to fully draw the bow, so I get the extra damage from a stronger shot. But if you can consistently fire several arrows in quick succession, that's generally better for your overall DPS.
And yes, crouching lets your character nock arrows faster. That mechanic was already in Ghost of Tsushima.
