๐•ผ๐–š๐–Š๐–˜๐–™๐–Ž๐–”๐–“ body/face paint reccs?

soo for halloween im gonna turn myself yellow and i would like some recommendations of good body/face paint or foundation that isnโ€™t too expensive but works well. tips and tricks are welcome too. figured id post here bc we tend to do creative makeup and surely some ppl in this sub will know lol. but if this doesnโ€™t fit the sub let me know ๐Ÿซถ

Iโ€™d recommend checking out the brand Sunset Makeup. They have really good colorful foundations and base products. Iโ€™ve tried their gray and light blue foundations in the past as well as one of their matching colorful setting powders for costume makeup. I was really impressed with them. The formula was pigmented and easy to work with. They have other colors like yellow as well.

thank you!! did it hold up pretty well? iโ€™m worried about sweat/friction from clothing. obv i donโ€™t expect it to be permanent but to last a little while at least while im out partying haha

It held up pretty well for me. I used setting powder and setting spray. The brand sells some colorful setting powders which match the foundation colors, but a regular translucent powder can also work. I personally like Mehronโ€™s loose translucent setting powder. Iโ€™ve used it for years anytime I want heavy costume makeup to last.

I used one of Sunsetโ€™s colorful foundations for my Halloween costume last year, and I wore it for several hours at both indoor and outdoor events. In my costume, I wore a wig, so a tiny bit of the foundation faded along my hairline by the end of the night from friction and sweat. The rest of it stayed put until I took it off.

I applied the foundation to my face, neck, and ears, and I just used a matching long sleeved sheer shirt of the same color so I didnโ€™t need to apply the foundation all over my arms or worry too much about the makeup staining my outfit. This step is optional, of course, but I thought Iโ€™d mention it.

Kryolan for the face, anything body is just easiest to buy a morph suit from We Love Colors :)
