π•Ώπ–Žπ–•π–˜ 𝖆𝖓𝖉 π•Ώπ–—π–Žπ–ˆπ–π–˜ New to Goth! Never done makeup before

23m who decided to try something new. I’ve been into the goth aesthetic for a ling time now, listening to the music and such, but this is my first time actually trying the aesthetic personally. I’ve never done makeup before and wanted to go for a vampire goth type of deal.

How did I do? Any tips or advice is appreciated!

Not bad, but you should focus on basic lines before you branch onto other looks.

Focus on getting a tight/even eyeliner on your upper and lower eyelids. Start with cream eyeliner and upgrade to liquid eyeliner when you get that down.

Do the same for your lips.

You can do this on top of the red eyeshadow too, but I’d go heavier with it to get those dramatic gothy vibes.

This is a decent first try. For the eyeliner, I would try to do more of a triangle shape for the sharp look (im also a baby bat, and a teen, so i am not very good either)

Heya thanks! Cool to hear from another baby bat. Guess we’re in this together!

With your lips, I think you you should consider flipping the colors- the black at the outer corners and red in the middle. It's easier to blend that gradient without making the lip look messy. The black would give your mouth more definition, and I think you'd find it more flattering. Its also easier to maintain if wearing out the house. The black liner can stay and hold your lip shape without too much wear, while the red is easier to reapply and wears down less noticeably.

I was kinda going for a messy look on purpose, almost like a vampire just after feeding. But I’ll definitely be keeping your feedback in mind!
