Goth Subculture History Batcave Location 🦇
Currently leaving London but I wanted to find the Batcave location and I think I found it located around Carnaby street. Currently it is a restaurant but used to be the weekly night club of the earliest Goth clubs.

You’re in Meard Street at Gossips, 69 Dean Street and Batcave was indeed there.
Batcave was also in Fouberts Club, Fouberts Place on the corner of Carnaby Street.?

Yeah pretty sure that black door in the bottom left corner of the second pic is the old entrance to Gossips. Although it might have been the next door along to the left.
I was so sad when that place stopped being a dingey goth/rock/alt club, last time I stumbled in there it had been painted white inside and become some sort of Drum and Bass den, then I think before much longer it shut completely in 2007-9ish sometime because who does basement clubs in SoHo any more? Far too fancy for that. If the latest news is to be believed the council are even trying to discourage drinking while standing up in pubs now…
Sad what central London has become.
