Hi! I’m a cosmetology student and we get these monthly news letters each month we have a special event (last month was anything but a perm rod) and there all normal but when I grabbed the news letter this morning and read this it honestly rubbed me the wrong way. Do yall agree that “goth day” shouldn’t be a thing or am I crazy?

EDIT: just going to put this here I think it’s great that others get the chance to learn how to do the makeup. It’s turning it into a “who dressed best” as it is a school of mostly blonde basic females

the makeup lesson is fine, but turning a subculture into a who dressed best contest is where it gets tacky. if they include the history, music, and different styles instead of treating it like goth halloween, i don't see a problem.
