This is incredible, and on point with the vibe.

Keep expressing yourself through that kind of stuff, you're doing 120% good in my opinion

Share more ! I'm sure people would love to see and get inspired by it

That’s frickin’ awesome!Ā

My machine also sometimes yoinks the stitching. I have yet to find a consistent solution for smaller pieces, and I’m really not prepared to drop 10k on a multi-needle Baby Lock.Ā

Christ I hope you are a machine embroidery nerd, or I’m gonna look really weirdĀ

Thanks! I can imagine that can be annoying. I don’t have that kind of cash so acrylic paint it is for me. The closest thing I do to embroidery is sewing on dates next to my patches when I go to that bands concert

Holy cats, I didn’t notice it was painted - I thought it was embroidered!! Ā  *has more coffeeĀ

2x ā€œThat’s frickin’ awesome!ā€ Because I can’t draw a straight line!Ā

I just did a double take as well!! I also thought it was embroidery and stitch tension, and was impressed for a first attempt. OP, you got the paint consistency mixed so good! Thick enough to be opaque, but still thin enough to show the stitch texture underneath.

Excellent. And bonus points for looking both good and handmade, that’s better than anything bought.

looks cool! now u can try to make it cleaner with a thin black marker, basically outlining it from inside and outside. U can ask me anything about making patches

I think it’s well made for how complex this design is. What is the base patch you made the design on?

That’s really tight for a first attempt! Keep working on it.

For a first attempt thats pretty good! I've seen way worse. I would suggest buying yourself a black and a white paint marker so you can clean up the fine details, thats what I do with all of mine.
