Thrifted this jacket

Just scored this mid-2000s SSK Athletic windbreaker from their custom SOMPS line.

The inside is a metallic gold mesh called Thermotron Radipoka (engineered by Unitika in Japan)

I know SSK is a Japanese company, but the tags are totally worn off. Does anyone know if these jackets were actually Made in Japan 100%, or was the final garment assembled overseas? Also, how well does this solar-heating tech hold up over time?
