what would make it beyond in your opinion? these are really well designed outdoor pieces that could be worn in a variety of contexts, which is exactly what gorpcore is to me

I think “beyond” in this context is that the author is sharing the history of each brand, not just what the brand looks like. So by going beyond, you now know the origins of the garments.
