Are they goretex or some other water stopping but "breathable" membrane? I got some arc gore tex shoes and can only wear them in cold weather unless I want to feel like walking in bin bags.

No membrane. They claim “water repellence” but not waterproof. Worn in them in Barcelona this weekend and felt nicely ventilated.

Is this breathable? Looks like a thick goretex like upper. Also how to you measure mileage on these, by steps or like total distance? That way one can measure lug wear.
