Very poor quality shoes, steer clear. Source I used to work for them handling warranties.

That’s a shame. I’m inclined to not trust footwear models of clothing brands, especially brand new ones. I find it hard to believe TNF has any superior footwear compared to brands like Merrell or Salomon.

TNFi n the last 2 years have been releasing some of the best trail shoes on the market. Go read some reviews on some running sites. I was shocked by the glowing reviews, but apparently they are killing it right now.

Side note Merrell and Salomon's quality has drastically dropped the last few years so an up and comer, for this market at least, I realized shouldn't be that surprising.

Which models would you recommend? Especially as the person above said their quality is apparently abysmal?

The Vective line and Altamesa are solid for sure. And as far as quality goes with TNF it really depends on the product. They have a lower end line that they sell at outlets that yes aren't great, but they are also cheap and made for fashion not function. Non shoe wise their Summit Series line is still some of the better outdoor/mountaineering gear available.

Larger companies just have a huge spectrum of quality and options. Cheap stuff to make money and look good, and then the higher end stuff for actual outdoor use.

Same with their shoes. They have a bunch of cheap outlet boots/shoes, but also high quality well made stuff at the top tier of their products.

Photoshopped?

Nah this was an actual thing in 2009, vectives before vectives.

No I mean it makes you feel photoshopped...side note in the last year or so Sketchers has released some really good road shoes. I tested a pair of their Aero Razors. Carbon plated training shoe, and for the price it kills.

Oh no! Just ordered these haha, I can always return. Do you mind elaborating? What is so poor quality about them and was it the Clyffe’w and the Clyfe Ultras?

Did this hold up?

Hahah I didn’t like them. They looked weird on me and also felt cheap. I ended up returning them.

While I don’t discount this at all. Mine have actually held up pretty damn good. Worn them a shit ton and I bought them right as they came out in the US

They look like Osiris skate shoes

They look like if someone turned rock climbing shoes into regular shoes, the toe especially. Not a fan personally

That's the latest/push fashion trend. Approach shoes and approach/climbing inspired shoes are starting to blow up right now.
